Liverpool FC have just completed stage 1 of their redevelopment on the main stand which added 8,500 seats, upgrading the overall capacity of Anfield to over 54,000. As well as the main stand, there are also some redevelopments in the outside area.
Other redevelopments to the area include paisley square and a brand new road leading to the new stand is named 96 avenue where the Hillsborough memorial has been moved to commemorate those who died in the Hillsborough disaster. The players entrance has also been moved, and upgraded with a drive in entrance, where lucky fans will be able to greet the fans inside on match days.
The LFC Explorer Tour takes you from the city centre to the Albert Dock, Canada Boulevard and then finally Anfield itself on one of our very own official LFC open top busses.
