Ho ho ho, Santa is coming to town! If you’re not already prepared, it’s time to get yourself ready. Take a break from the shopping and enjoy the fun and togetherness that Christmas is all about. Our city truly comes alive when Christmas is here and we know there’s a range of brilliant activities and events available to get the whole family into the festive spirit.
Here are some of the top activities we recommend trying out this winter…
- Liverpool Christmas Markets – No visit is complete without experiencing a traditional Christmas market. Head to St George’s Hall where you can explore a range of stalls selling everything from delicious cuisine, refreshing beverages and sweet desserts to wonderful gifts.
- Sing with Santa – Santa himself is coming to the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall! Santa will be leading a musical concert featuring some of the best seasonal songs, so start getting your vocal chords warmed up now.
- Walk-through Christmas Tree – A magnificent 16-metre high artificial Christmas tree is now on site at Williamson Square. This stunning tree is lit up and makes for a perfect selfie backdrop.
- Pop-up Floating Cinema – There’s no doubt one of the best parts about Christmas is the films. A floating cinema has appeared at the Royal Albert Dock Liverpool where you can relax watching the best Christmas movies in one of Liverpool’s most iconic settings.
Our sightseeing tour bus is without doubt the best way to get around town to enjoy these Christmas activities and much more. Due to the darker nights, our times have changed slightly. The first bus tour will still leave the Royal Albert Dock Liverpool every day at 10am, however the last tour now leaves at 3:30pm as opposed to 4:30pm.
